DHONI NOT RETIRING, WILL JOIN HIS PARA MILITARY REGIMENT FOR TWO MONTHS

Finally, after weeks team India’s former captain MS Dhoni has put an end to all speculation about his retirement and about the West Indies tour.Dhoni has informed the BCCI that he will be unavailable for any form of cricket for a two-month.

Dhoni is joining the Para Military Regiment for the next two months.This clarifies that Dhoni will not go with the team on tour the West Indies.
Let us tell you that Team India will start the West Indies tour from August 3rd. India will have to play three T20 Internationals, three ODIs, and two Test matches during this period.
Now, the management will select team India on Sunday for the West Indies tour.
MS DHONI WON’T PLAY CRICKET FOR TWO MONTHS
Although Dhoni has not announced retirement, he will not play any cricket for 2 months.
Earlier, there were speculations that Dhoni would retire from cricket after the World Cup.
On the news of Dhoni’s retirement, his manager and friend Arun Pandey said that Dhoni has no intention of retirement right now.
Arun Pandey said that Dhoni doesn’t plan to retire from cricket right now.
The matter of Dhoni’s retirement started after team India lost the semi-finals in the ICC Cricket World Cup.
This statement of Pandey has come when the Indian cricket team is to be selected for the tour of the West Indies on Sunday.
So far, there is no official statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Dhoni’s retirement. But Keshav Banerjee believes that a decision should be taken about this soon.
DHONI TO SERVE HIS PARAMILITARY REGIMENT
However, while talking to a news agency an official said, “Dhoni has made himself unavailable for the tour of West Indies as he will be spending two months with his paramilitary regiment,”
“We would like to say three things. He is not retiring from cricket right now. He is taking a two-month sabbatical to serve his paramilitary regiment which he had committed much earlier,” he said.
“We have now intimated his decision to skipper Virat Kohli and chairman of selectors MSK Prasad,” the senior official added.
